Eng. Prof. Ninatubu M. Lema PhD, PE
Managing Director
Prof. Lema is a civil engineer and a project management expert specializing in infrastructure project procurement and management of contracts with local and international experience. He holds his BSc. Eng (1st Class) honors degree from the University of Dar es Salaam, MSc and PhD in engineering project management from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. He has more than 30 years’ experience conducting studies and providing consultancy services in project appraisals, construction project planning, procurement, contract formulation and management, project performance evaluation and corporate strategic planning. He has organized and conducted more than 30 short courses for construction and related-industry practitioners both inside and outside Tanzania - more than half of which are focused on construction project management.

Prof. Lema is the author of more than 30 international and local technical publications, research publications, and study reports. He has been lecturing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels on project management and procurement. Prof. Lema has supervised over 30 successfully completed Masters Degree dissertations, two Masters Theses and Four PhDs in Tanzania, South Africa and Sweden - all of which were in the area of project management and procurement. Prof. Lema is a visiting professor at the University of Botswana teaching project risk management at the postgraduate level. He is also the co-author of an ANSTI sponsored forthcoming book titled: “Fundamentals of Civil Engineering Construction Management.”
Prof. Lema has been a procurement and project contract advisor/consultant to a number of major public projects including the U.S. government-financed Millennium Challenge Corporation Project with a budget of nearly USD 700 million.
He has been an adjudicator and a member of Dispute Adjudication Boards (under FIDIC Contracts) in a number of public construction projects. Prof. Lema is a registered consulting engineer with practicing license No. C-A0188 and the chairman of the Engineers’ Registration Board, Tanzania. Eng. Dr. Geophrey Mbatta PhD, PE
Director of Technical Services
Dr. Mbatta is a registered professional engineer and expert in the area of transportation engineering, project management and infrastructure design who is setting the standard for Tanzania project managers. He is a holder of BSc. honors degree in civil engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam, MSc and PhD in transportation engineering from Florida State University in the United States of America.
Dr. Mbatta has more than 5 years’ experience in conducting structural designs, transportation safety studies, traffic operation and transit facilities designs for U.S. government agencies. In addition, Dr. Mbatta has been involved in various assignments such as design and supervision of up to twelve multi-storey apartments and hotels, preparation of standard bidding documents, and design and evaluation of performance of road traffic safety. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at Ardhi University in Tanzania. As a lecturer, Dr. Mbatta speaks mainly on transportation and other fields of civil engineering.
Eng. Emanuel E. Moshi MSc, PE
Director of Operations
Engineer Emanuel is a professional civil engineer with excellent qualifications in structural analysis and design, geotechnical engineering, construction project management and procurement in the construction industry.
He has specific experience in civil engineering structural design and has supervised several civil engineering projects. He has an in-depth understanding of design techniques using various structural design programs such as Masterseries, Prokon, and Autocad. He has been involved in the structural engineering design of more than twenty storeys multi purpose buildings and he has supervised more than seven construction projects. He has gained an extensive knowledge and exposure to construction project planning, design, supervision, contract administration and occupational health and safety current practices, as well as performance in construction sites.
Engineer Emanuel has specific experience in geotechnical investigation acquired through various projects including the feasibility study and geotechnical investigation of the Rovuma River where the construction of the Unity Bridge took place.
